Charlotte Oaks is Bubi & Filippo Strang (both formerly Flying Vaginas).

Just for a moment close your eyes and imagine an old-fashioned chalet in the woods, a colorful Wes Anderson-styled living room, a vintage radio playing some Ennio Morricone soundtracks and a girl in a wool sweater, singing in a soft, warm voice.
That's it, that's the picture where Charlotte Oaks takes life and masters her mesmerizing tunes!

As Bubi tells: «In those lazy summer days when you got nothing to do, having a recording studio right next to our home is such a beautiful thing. Filippo had some songs ready, with a sort of 60s vibe, on which I could put my voice. I heard them and instantly liked them! I said, let's do an EP like this! So 'I’m Wrong' is the track that best sums up the work we have done: we loved so much that obsessive rhythm section, those flickering and atmospheric guitars that take you half a century back, as in a western movie. All recorded thanks to the embracing analog sound of tape!»
